Bowling Green State University
Project Dates: 2013 – 2014
ESA was the Civil Engineer on this new 30,000 sf state of the art forensic laboratory and investigative services facility to be used by the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. This project had an aggressive schedule which required construction completion by November 4, 2014. ESA began the survey in July 2013 and issued site drawings for bid in October 2013. ESA’s scope of work included the following:
- Topographic survey and site design for this project.
- Site design included new parking and entrance drives, storm drainage, and sanitary and water services to the building.
- Storm drainage required the use of an underground storage system due to the tight site constraints.
- Storm calculations included evaluation of the existing storm sewer system to determine allowable runoff.
