ProMedica Health Systems
ESA has provided surveying and site design services for projects on the North Campus for ProMedica Health System. In addition to the major building projects, ESA has provided numerous surveying and engineering services on the campus such as boundary and ALTA surveys, parking lot additions, etc.
North Campus Survey for Master Planning
ESA provided surveying services for the 10.8 acre area of the north campus for master planning purposes. Survey included topographic and boundary services and aerial mapping.
- Establish Boundaries for each parcel on the campus.
- Utilized a photogrammetric firm to provide aerial mapping of the campus.
- Supplemented the aerial mapping with the location of utilities on ProMedica owned properties and within the public right-of-way.
- Supplemented the aerial mapping with detailed topographic information for the areas to be included within construction areas.
- Depicted easements as provided by the title commitment.
- Incorporated Ohio Department of Transportation planned improvements into the survey drawing.
Toledo Hospital North Campus Medical Office Building
Full survey and site design services for new medical office facility.
- New 55,000 sf facility on 3.98 acre site.
- Project utilized an early site construction package due to the aggressive project schedule.
- Site work included grading, parking layout, storm drainage and new water and sanitary service connections to the building.
- Storm design included an underground detention system due to the tight site constraints.
- Coordinated and assisted in obtaining approvals through the City of Toledo Planning Commission. Items addressed included shared campus parking and landscape waivers.
- Services included coordination meetings with City officials and attendance at public hearings.
- Provided construction phase services including shop drawing review and construction staking.
Toledo Hospital North Campus Site Improvements
Full survey and site design services for the site improvements on the 10.33 acre campus associated with the new medical office building.
- Site work included new parking areas and entrance drives, demolition, repaving and storm improvements.
- Site design included grading, parking layout and storm drainage.
- Storm design included an underground detention system due to the tight site constraints.
- Site required phased construction to maintain Owner occupancy of existing facilities on campus.
- Provided construction phase services including shop drawing review and construction staking.
